With over 30 years of cooking experience, Chef Rolf Stroeh has an exquisite taste and an undeniable passion for his career in the culinary industry.
Chef Stroeh began his career early at age 17 as an apprentice and chef at various hotels throughout Germany, Switzerland and the Jersey Channel Islands. He has developed a renowned reputation through an 18-year long career in Nassau, Bahamas, and at Design Cuisine in Washington, D.C. Through out his experiences as an Executive Chef; Rolf Stroeh has also won many awards for his astounding culinary talents. Among them are "Chef of the Year" and two gold medals from the Culinary Olympics in Frankfurt, Germany where he fulfilled the position of captain for the Bahamian team.
In 1987 Chef Stroeh moved to the United States from Nassau, Bahamas. Since moving to the US, he has established himself a long list of reputable and distinguished clients including foreign embassies, the National Gallery of Art, the White House, and people such as Prince Charles, the Queen of Thailand and Mikhail Gorbachev.
