American Kidney Fund Gala -The Hope Affair
Event Honors Patients and Caregivers, Celebrating the People Who Inspire Us in the Fight Against Kidney Disease. The fourth annual national gala took place at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium.
The evenings menu:
Trio of Pumpkin: October greens with grilled Sugar Pie pumpkins with cranberry vinaigrette, roasted pumpkin seed and pumpkin bisque with cinnamon creme fraiche.
Paprika Dusted Chilean Sea Bass and Bison Filet: with mushroom risotto, glazed butternut squash, haricot vert, roasted fennel, Valencia orange butter watercress emulsion and blackberry sauce
Maracaibo Chocolate Fondant: flourless chocolate cake filled with a dark chocolate cream and a crispy wafer with velvet chocolate spray and salty caramel sauce
